Shoe-Crazy

I've been surfing the websites of some independent fashion designers and come across quite a few items I'd be willing to sacrifice a whole lot for.

A few days ago I came across these "Muir Woods Booties", and almost had a fit. I never particularly enjoyed this "bootie" phase that the fashion industry has been going through, but the moment I saw these my mind was permanently changed. They're classy, and beautiful, and unique all in one perfect pair of shoes. Lucky for my bank account and unlucky for my heart, these shoes are out of stock at the moment. But may I assure you, that the moment they come back in, I will be yanking out my credit card.

While consoling myself about not owning the previously mentioned booties, I stumbled across these gems from Blowfish on Zappos.com. I'm pretty big into hunter plaid at the moment, and these just screamed "I will look amazing with black leggings!" They're not very much less expensive, but they ARE available at the moment. Poor, poor bank account.

Today I was trolling a few fashion blogs, and came across these AMAZING boots from ChloƩ. The first fraction of a second upon setting my gaze upon them was something like "Wow, those look like bowling shoes with heels. Weird." My thought process then moved to, "OHMYGOD those are gorgeous. MUST HAVE." They are, however, very sadly and extraordinarily out of my price range, which means I will have to wait for someone to grow tired of them and post them on eBay. Sadness.

ALSO unbelievably out of my price range, these juicy red Balmain buckle boots had me drooling onto my keyboard. I mean, one look at these babies and I was dreaming of all the things I would do in them... which I will not say here. Anyway, until I become a millionaire they will be sadly out of my grasp.

As a lovely closing photo, this picture of Emily Mortimer was something I stumble upon in another fashion blog. She was doing a photo shoot involving several of Truman Capote's short stories, and I just fell in love with the dress she was wearing in one of them and had to share.

Have a nice day everyone!
